The Department is one of four Departments of the School of Health Sciences, with Dean Rev. Professor Mrs. Tzavella Fotini. 

The organs of the department are the President and the Assembly of the department. The President of the Section shall convene the Assembly, draw up the agenda, propose or appoint a member of the Assembly as rapporteur, and preside over the work of the Assembly. The term of office of the President and of the Vice-President shall be three years. The current administration of the Section (01-09-2023 to 31-08-2026) is as follows:
