Panagiotis Prezerakos is a Professor at the Department of Nursing, University of Peloponnese, where he teaches Nursing Services Management and Health Services Organisation. P. Prezerakos received his PhD from the Department of Nursing of the Kapodistrian and National University of Athens (2000) after completing his postgraduate studies at the University of London in "Health Services Management" (1995). Prior to joining the staff of the University of Peloponnese (2009) he was a clinical nurse in an ICU, Director of a Professional Training Centre, Hospital Manager and Manager of the 2nd Regional Health Authority of Attica. Between 2019-2021 he served as Secretary General of Public Health. P. Prezerakos is a member of the Integrated Health Care Laboratory of the Department of Nursing. His research interests include the Management and Organization of Nursing Services and Health Services in general at all levels of health care delivery and Human Resources Management of Health Services.
